Crashes on iPhone 4s, ios 7.1.2

The app is a great one, but crashes on startup, every time. Please solve this problem :((

Good Product, missing a few features

Love the product and use it on a regular basis, just with I could put more detailed notes into time entires as just a one liner does not cut it for us. Would recommend the product to anyone looking for basic time tracking.

Great App to keep track of how you are spending your time

Fantastic App! Keeping track of your time is essential to running a successful business of any type. As a graphic designer, I can log in, keep track of my time and know if I missed the quote by spending too much time on a project and adjust the price for the next project or if it was right on the money. Things usually take longer than I think they will, so Toggl can keep me updated so I can keep my clients updated.

Works Great!

Im a sole proprietor for my massage therapy business and use taco to gauge my time. Im able to see my time spent marketing versus clientele. It also helps me by showing me my busiest time which is helpful for developing a more permanent schedule. Ive already recommended the staff two friends who have their own well, I think its worthwhile.

Love this app

This is the best time-tracking app I have found for my needs. I love that it gives full freedom for editing my times. I love how I can record a time in the future (seems unintuitive but I do use that from time to time as way of motivating myself to start my work at a specific time and end at a specific time). I love how intuitively it behaves when I edit my time(e.g. if I edit the beginning time it shifts my ending time to match maintaining the length of time, but if I edit the ending time, the beginning time does not change and the length of time adjusts to match). It is also easy to move between tasks, projects, and customers with very little effort. The only features that I would like to see are support for Apple Watch which would allow me to start and stop my time. And for the iOS and web apps in the reports section, I would like to be able to see the bar graph divided into the colors of the respective projects(the same way the pie graph is) with a way to toggle individual projects on and off. Even though I would like these additional features, I still think this app deserves 5 stars. The amount of ingenuity and simplicity baked into this project, in my opinion, earns all 5 stars. Thanks again for a stellar product.

Not That Rad

We LOVE Toggl for tracking time at the agency via the web browser. The App falls way short in terms of functionality, ability to find recently used entries, etc. Bummed, but it is what it is.

Improvements could be made

Overall its fine, I just wish there was an easier/more efficient way to input time + projects that have already happened. I rarely track time live and I constantly input data but it just seems to take so long.

good start, too much overhead to use

I like Toggl and the idea of low-overhead one-button start / stop time tracking. I use Toggl for time tracking my entire day, not just computer or work tasks. (meals, exercise, work projects…etc.) Unfortunately this can’t be done with the ios app because to access the time I have: 1) to unlock my phone 2) tap the app 3) wait for the app to sync (doesn’t background sync). If done on unsynced entry (that was stopped elsewhere but still shows is running on the ios app) you have a bogus super long entry. 4) then press stop / start. This takes about 10-15 seconds sometimes which is way too long. Possible solutions: 1) Fix the notification bar drop down widget. The start / stop function doesn’t work when the phone is locked and only partially works when the phone is unlocked. This could be the best solution. 2) Background syncing for time and do conflict resolution later Nice to haves / done well: - Done well: continuing entry by sliding right on past entry. deleting by swipe left. nice and slick. - Really nice to have: Split entry. Often times we start timer and in a rush end up doing about 3 things before we realized our timer is going and stop the timer. If there is a slick way on the desktop and ios to “split” a larger time entry into multiple ones that would be a huge time saver and greatly reduce the overhead. In total I spend about 30 minutes a week tracking time via toggl which should be more like 10 minutes tops and I think implementing these features can greatly help with that.

Excellent, productive app!

Great app--just what I needed!

iPad version not very usable

I use Toggl across web, PC, iPhone, and iPad. I spend most of my time in web on my PC, but run the desktop as it enables features like timeline. PC is good but UI not as good as web. iPhone is nice to keep things currnet if away from my PC or I forgot to start the timer for a meeting etc. Unfortunately the app on the iPad is only in portrait. I use landscape 100% of the time. I deleted the app and just use the web app. I cannot understand why they havent fixed this.

EXCELLENT App and Service

I’ve used Toggl for years, both in my freelancing and in my full-time job. Their cross platform offerings are top-notch. Specifically the Toggl iPhone app has improved in time and the current version is excellent. I used it often to clock time for my full-time job from home and to check in on my progress with weekly report summaries (especially love that feature). Highly recommend Toggl to anyone.

Detailed Report

Great app! It works for me and the desktop version is twice as good. The mobile version needs a section for Detailed Reports and a section to share using phone menu.

Desktop app is great, mobile only adequate

No iPad version, and the iPhone version wont rotate on the iPad. Unlike the desktop version I cant select an existing entry to kick off a new timer for that project and task. So Im forced to start from scratch and while projects are handled via drop down I have to type a few characters for it to populate the task. Multiply that by the number of times I switch tasks each day and it adds up to Ill try pretty hard to always use the desktop version. Just adding a play button so I can kick off a new timer based on an old entry would take it to 5 stars for me.

Work Hard, Play Hard

Toggl is awesome! AWESOME! I love this tool and am very happy I found it. It is easy to use, syncs very well, and gives thorough easy to read reports. I can always justify my time working with Toggl. THANK YOU!

Completely useless

Use to be ok, then the upgrade occurred...the rest is history. Hate how it take forever to load the times you check in and itll erase or double enter a time. So frustrated!

Crashes every time - crappy

Fix it! Cant touch screen until spinning deal finishes or it crashes. Even waiting sometimes crashes

Simply Terrible

Cant run multiple timers at the same time. Made a mistake creating a project or client? You can delete it online but the app wont recognize the deletion and will hang around annoying the crap out of you.

No Watch App!

Give us a watch app so we dont have to pull out our phone.

Few minor annoyances

It works well for me as a timer- my main complaints are that I cant figure out how to delete old entries so that they dont show as options - and I keep getting emails saying the timer is still running when its not. Thats really starting to get on my nerves. Other than that I like it.

FIX FIX FIX

PLEASE let this app just be malfunctioning for the moment, and not forever....I use it to track freelance work, and need to prepare invoices, but the app is currently unable to fetch reports....ANY reports at all. Zero information. All of my tracking appears to be lost. What...do.. .i...do..... *i will return and give you ALL THE STARS if I get my reports restored
